Bernie, Thanks a lot for sharing your experience here. I did some benchmarking with two different webmaps which have basemaps with different projections (EPSG 3857 and 2056). Then I added the same (heavy) Map Image and Feature Layers to both and also a Raster (all EPSG 2056). I would have expected a performance difference, but strangely, the performance seems to be about the same. This is on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1. Could it be that something has changed on ESRI side since 8 years ago. I would prefer to use all our basemaps in our local projection (which is currently the case) but unfortunately, some of the mobile apps like Survey123 do only work with Web Mercator (especially when the basemap needs to be downloadable when working in a disconnected environment). In case that you would like to take a look: Project on the Fly All CH1903+/LV95 Martin

How much performance cost do I have to expect if the data I show on a webmap has a different projection than the basemap? My data is in a local coordinate system while the basemap is in web mercator projection. In that case Mapviewer will re-project the data on the fly, so the data matches the coordinate system of the basemap. Does anyone have some information about the actual performance cost? The data I use is pretty heavy in some cases.

We would be interested in OpenID Connect, but will stay with SAML as long as group memberships are not available.

Together with ESRI Support, we identified that the following property seems to be the cause of the issue: It is set to "false", while it should be "true". Now, I do not know why or how this property has been changed, but I found the following article that tells how I can put it back to "true". I activated "Enable Sync" for the hosted Feature layer and now it works again.

Thank you. We are working on ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1, the layer is a hosted Feature Layer and we are using the most current version of Field Maps on Android devices.

We see exactly the same message. Since it is not me who uses this application, I cannot say exactly when it began, but it was recently. I am thinking that maybe an update somewhere might have caused it. I did not try republishing the data, yet. Let me know if this changes anything for you. Meanwhile, I have opened a ticket with ESRI Support. I will let you know about any findings.

We are using our Twitter account to publish news on our opendata webpage (https://geo.fr.ch) via the Social Media card. Unfortunately, this stopped working (see screenshot). I did some research, and if I understand correctly, this is due to changes made on Twitter side, by not allowing anonymous access to tweets anymore. This is quite annoying. Are there any known workarounds to make the Social Media card work again with Twitter? If not, are there any plans to allow other content providers besides Twitter and Facebook for this card? Thanks for any help.

The ArcGIS Hub API offers the possibility to copy hubs/sites between ArcGIS Online and Enterprise. Here is an example python notebook. Maybe this helps you already.

The ArcGIS Hub API offers the possibility to copy hubs/sites between different organizations. Here is an example python notebook. Maybe this helps you already. Having said that, I have to say that I was not too happy with the result and ended up with a more manual workflow. I copied from one ArcGIS Enterprise to another and basically searched and copied the respective folder with the data from one server to another and then manually adapted certain things in the files (e.g. group-IDs, etc.). Unfortunately, this is not something you can do on ArcGIS Online.

We have a "back to top" button on our Geoportal (made with ArcGIS Enterprise Sites). Is this what you are looking for? If yes, this is the HTML code I injected using a text box: <nav class="navbar navbar-link navbar-fixed-bottom" style="">
<div class="container-fluid">
<ul class="nav navbar-nav navbar-right">
<li class="active" role="presentation">
<center><a href="#top"><span style="color:#008094" class="glyphicon glyphicon-triangle-top"><p style="font-family:roboto;color:#008094">Top</p></span></a></center></li>
<li>
</li></ul>
</div>

Currently all data pages open by default with a "Map view" of a dataset. In a second step the user can then open the "Full Details View". For our datasets the description is vital. Therefore I would like the user to see the Full Details page first. Could you please make it an option in the Hub Settings to choose if the Map or the Full Details are shown first?

I am trying to publish a web tool from ModelBuilder in ArcGIS Pro. Inside my model there is (besides other things) a script. This script works with data on the same Portal that I want to publish the Webtool to. Consequently, I need to create a connection to the Portal inside the script. gis = GIS(url="https://***/portal", username="***", password="***?", verify_cert=False) The model works fine in ArcGIS Pro, the script does what I want, it applies some edits to data on Portal. However, when trying to publish the layer as a webtool, I always get an error message (ERROR 00068 - Script contains broken project data source -- > see attached image): It seems that the problem is the connection to my Portal in the script. Is there any way to avoid that? I tried using a token instead of credentials, but the result is the same.
