I commented out the pdbonly in the csproj file, cleaned, rebuilt and ran, and the config seems to work. Still, I wonder why Esri added that option for the Release.

The aprx file is a zip file containing xml which can be deserialized as CIM objects. Last I checked this is also "core" in the sense that it can be run with dotnet core (apparently no license initialization required). private static void Test()
{
string aprxFile = @"D:\ArcPro_Projects\Naperville\Naperville.aprx";
using (ZipArchive archive = System.IO.Compression.ZipFile.OpenRead(aprxFile))
{
foreach (var entry in archive.Entries
.Where(e => !e.FullName.StartsWith("Metadata/"))
.Where(e => e.FullName.EndsWith(".xml")))
{
try
{
using (var strm = new StreamReader(entry.Open()))
{
var xml = strm.ReadToEnd();
var obj = CIMObject.FromXml(xml);
Debug.Print($"type: {obj}");
}
}
catch(Exception ex)
{
Debug.Print($"error {entry.FullName} : {ex.Message}");
}
}
}
}

@GKmieliauskas thanks for responding! Unfortunately, when I run your code with the Landsat Url, I get a ImageServiceLayer, and not a MosaicLayer. The properties for the resulting layer say there are 3 bands... And yet the metadata says it has 9 bands .... Other properties in the metadata suggest I should be able to create a mosaiclayer from it, e.g. MaxMosaicImageCount, AllowedMosaicMethods, AvailableMosaicMethods, etc. Is there a sample anywhere showing how to create a MosaicLayer from a Landsat Imagery URL?

When I run this code with 2.9, it prints: "null layer" then "ImageServiceLayer". I was expecting to get a MosaicLayer. Am I doing something wrong? var uri = new Uri(@"https://landsat2.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/Landsat/MS/ImageServer");
var map = MapView.Active.Map;
await QueuedTask.Run(() =>
{
var layer = LayerFactory.Instance.CreateMosaicLayer(uri, map,0,"landsat");
if (layer == null)
Debug.Print("null layer");
var layer2 = MapView.Active.Map.Layers[0];
Debug.Print(layer2.GetType().Name);
});

When I run the CoreHostGDB sample with Pro 2.8.3 and Windows 10.0.19042.1288 I get a message in the console saying "Unable to find FNP security runtime shared object". After browsing for a filegdb and clicking the Open button, I get: Exception thrown: 'System.DllNotFoundException' in ArcGIS.Core.dll Exception thrown: 'System.DllNotFoundException' in mscorlib.dll An exception of type 'System.DllNotFoundException' occurred in mscorlib.dll but was not handled in user code Unable to load DLL 'CoreInterop.dll': The specified module could not be found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007007E) Google search results suggest the root cause may be license related. Running the ArcGIS Pro App works fine. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Pro, but get same results. This was working fine a few months ago. Since then I've installed numerous other applications on my machine. I'm guessing one of them uses the same licensing system, but with a different version? I really don't want to uninstall all the other apps to see if that is the case. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. Update: When I copy "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\AfCore_libFNP.dll" into the same folder as CoreHostGDB.exe and run it, I no longer get the "Unable to find FNP security runtime shared object" message - but I still get same exception as above. Thanks, Kirk

If the screenshot shown is not from ArcGIS Pro, create a featurelayer that visually meets your requirements via the GUI, as described here. Save it the layer to a .lyrx file, and view it with a text editor, examining the CIM classes therein. Write code that instantiates the CIM renderer class, and set the properties to whatever appears in the lyrx file. Finally, use SetRenderer to assign the renderer to the featurelayer.

@David_Brooks thanks for investigating! With classic I can zoom down to 20 (at least with chrome Version 93.0.4577.63) https://arcg.is/0nzaCn With non-classic I can only zoom to 19 though ... https://arcg.is/1SvqbS When I import either of those maps to Pro, I still end up with max zoom level 18. Note that QGIS has no problems, and even allows user to set the max zoom level.

I'm able to able to zoom down to level 20 in this map here https://ambergis.com Here's a level 20 tile: However when I add a layer to the map using this: I can only zoom down to level 18. I'm unable to add new LODs via the UI: I saved the layer to an lyrx file, expecting to be able to add two LODs, but don't see any listed. {

Hi - I'm migrating some code from arcobjects that retrieves the Destination Primary key from IRelationshipClass2. While the Attributed Relationship class definition has GetDestinationKeyField() member, RelationshipclassDefinition doesn't. Is there some way to determine DestinationKey for non-attributed relationships with Pro? Thanks, Kirk
