What is the best practice for publishing a survey to multiple portals from Connect? We are working on making better use of our QA/DEV portal environments for testing, and only publishing a Survey to ArcGIS Online or our Enterprise Portal once its ready to go into production. I am not sure the best practice for doing this within connect. Would it be better to make the survey and publish to QA/DEV, and make a copy (save as) of the survey within connect when it's ready to go into production? Or can the publishing location be easily changed with Manage Portals in Pro? It seems like there is something in the source files for the survey that tags the survey as already published, even though the publishing location has been changed. Have two surveys within connect does seem easier, if there are any future modifications, as they can be applied and published to our test environment first then transferred to the Production survey. With the caveat of getting to make any changes twice. Thank you Esri community!

I am trying to figure out how to create polygons of a fixed shape within Pro. Most of them would be 10'x10' square. We are looking to help with layout of 10'x10' square vendor tent. Snapping multiple together in the case below 50' x 20' would be ten 10'x'10' squares. (Likely a few other stand sizes, fix sized objects) Previously unit layout was done by a vendor in Adobe Illustrator which while made a graphic map. The AI map was not spatially accurate, which made adjusting the number of vendors difficult. The goal is to include the maximum number of vendors and keep the required fire lanes open. Is this possible in ArcGIS Pro? We also have an experience builder to help navigate to these locations, last year we digitized the map and created points. If we could create the map within Pro this would also remove this extra digitization step. I know I could create points at add a buffer, however that would result in a circle, not a square. Thanks for your help Esri community!

Thank you for all your quick responses. I agree Or_Other is wonky. I inherited a couple surveys and was hoping for an easy way to mark it as required. I will take your advice for the next version of this survey. Thank you..

Hi @KellyHutchins , To help with the troubleshooting, I have recreated the bug using only AGO Living Atlas Layers and a single arcade expression. In short the pop-up results can not be printed unless the Sidebar is in “Classic panel” mode. The printing feature is one of the features reasons the Sidebar instant app is being used. Selection of the Classic panel limits the pop-up results that can be displayed. Preserve required for select_one or other question type. The Select Venue Name is required, however if other is selected, the Specify other is not required. Is there a way to make the Specify other as required?

Hi @TonghuiMing, With the embedded images in Experience Builder not taking advantage of the CDN. What is the best way to configure Experiencer Builder for a high use application? We saw about 50,000 views per day at this applications peak, and some users reported they experienced a loading lag, we are trying to mitigate any loading issues, an optimize the application.

Hi @KellyHutchins, Thank you for the quick reply. I have submitted a bug to Esri support BUG-000166244 (Status: In Product Plan) . The "Classic Panel" does improve the export/print results. How do I turn on "Include selected features" by default? Having to turn this on is a new step in exporting the process. I would prefer to make it as easy as possible as this app is highly used both by the city and the public. Thank you

It looks like the Export/Print in the Sidebar Instant app broke after the recent AGO Release. Being able to export the pop-up details is one of the most important features of this app. Please return the functionality to include all pop-up details below the map when exporting/printing.

A coworker pointed me in the right direction for parameters. Turns out you can use named variables in an arcade expression, by enclosing it within percents, Ie %variable%. var Residential = %Residential% var Public_Facilities = %Public_Facilities% var Tourism = %Tourism% var Commercial_Area = %Commercial_Area% var High_Traffic = %High_Traffic% var Open_Space = %Open_Space% Leaving my question up, for anyone else runs into the same issue.

I am working on building a model, and the request is to be able to change some of the variables when running the model. I know this can be done by Creating a Variable --> From Parameter --> Expression; and setting that as a Parameter. Ideally, I just want the first part of the arcade expression to be visible and adjustable. Currently it appears I am showing the entire arcade expression, which makes it a little hard for another user to adjust, also I can't prevent the user from changing the model logic in more ways than I wish to expose to the user.

@IssyAmis Thank you, The Tabulate Intersections is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to generate table, quick join and field calculation and I know the percent coverage of High Fire Zone.

Hi @Jianxia, Thank you for the roadmap. I heard rumors at the 2023 UC that experience builder looking into switching into a true mobile first experience. Is this something on the roadmap for 2024? Where you configure everything on a mobile size screen first, and then adjust the tablet, and desktop views. Option for Mobile editing first - Esri Community
