https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/arcgis-pro-3-0-stuck-on-loading-map/td-p/1192971 The solution was updating the MS access database - at least for one user. Not sure if these will resolve everyone's issue though.

Hi TomBole and ESRI, ArcGIS Pro should at the least have the same functionality as ArcMap by now, don't you think? Pro is marketed as a superior version to Map but clearly isn't. It often appears that ESRI can't think beyond their profit margin.

Hi Jeremy, I'm sorry you are having trouble getting your legend exported correctly. Your issue sounds a bit different than the one initially described. Options like header and group layer name for legend are designed to be greyed out (disabled) when they aren't applicable to the layer type. So if the layer isn't in a group you won't be able to interact with group layer name, if the layer symbology doesn't support headings then heading will be disabled. From your description it sounds like you are experience a difference between what is drawing on the layout, and what is appearing in an export. This sounds like an export bug. Since 2.8.8 we have fixed several reported export bugs in the software, and done work to make exports faster and more robust. It's possible upgrading might fix your problem. If it doesn't, or if that is not an option currently, I recommend reaching out to technical support to log a bug. They can make sure it gets seen by the right team, and help you figure out if upgrading might resolve your issue. You can reach them here https://support.esri.com/en-us/overview.

The workflow I want: Fixed scale map Activate the map frame Pan the map so it's in the correct position in the lower left corner Deactivate the map frame "Crop" the map frame from the upper right to fit my area of interest without the map contents moving Current sort-of workaround is setting guides where I want the map frame boundaries and using Edit Vertices to snap the map frame handles to the guides, still have to pan the map back to where it's supposed to be though.

Hi Tom, thanks a lot for confirming that the longitude padding is only possible with 3 digits. So I will let the client decide, padding or no padding.... And also thanks for the information about the bug. At least now I know what I can suggest and implement and what not... Have a great weekend! Best, Claudia

Hi Tom, Using ArcGIS Pro 3.02 Ticks with do not align to the map frame as an inside tick when the frame is rotated: If I untick the "Draw perpendicular to grid edges", the ticks are rotate to follow the grid. This is not a desirable solution as well.

I ran into the same issue on ArcGIS Pro 2.9. I was able work around the issue by converting the Table Frame to a graphic.

I can't wait for 3.1. I am working quite a bit with extent indicator and grid in the same frame and the behaviour is really irritating. Additionally it permanently deactivates my grid when I reformat other things in the map frame and sets all labels to not vertical.

Hi @Scoth You are not missing a tool parameter. There is no setting that will give you what you're looking for. Unfortunately, I believe you will need to edit each grid manually - set rotation value to zero and move the grid - to get what you want. Hope this helps, Tom
