Hi, Thanks for pointing this out. Yes, the internal changes at 100.12 require packing options to exclude `META-INF/DEPENDENCIES`. We will update the tutorial. You can include the packaging options in you build.gradle file as below, packagingOptions {
exclude 'META-INF/DEPENDENCIES'
} Thanks Rama

Hi, We support GPUs that support Open GL 2.x, 3.x. So the common GPUs (Adreno, Mali, PowerVR etc) should all work. For GraphicsOverlay you can choose the RenderingMode (static and dynamic) that can impact the rendering with pan/zoom. We choose appropriate default based on the Geometry of the graphics. For large number graphics, STATIC rendering mode is recommended. https://developers.arcgis.com/android/api-reference/reference/com/esri/arcgisruntime/mapping/view/GraphicsOverlay.html Thanks Rama

Hi, This error is usually thrown if the app is trying to set a license after accessing any other functionality using developer license. So can you check your app and make sure the license is set before accessing any other runtime functionality. Thanks Rama

Hi Ankit, We have seen this error internally and it can happen when the ServiceFeatureTable goes out of scope/garbage collected on runtime platforms like android which is aggressive with garbage collection. When the SFT is disposed via garbage collection, the underlying geodatabase connection is also closed. We fixed it for next release by making the FeatureQueryResult hold strong reference of ServiceFeatureTable and there by avoiding it being garbage collected easily. Currently we can make sure that ServiceFeatureTable instance is not garbage collected at the app level, by keeping a reference of ServiceFeatureTable within the future done listener of the populate method (ex: call any property on SFT like name etc.) or making the SFT and FeatureQueryResult class variables. Thanks Rama

Hi, You can find the SDK and downloadable guide doc here for legacy API. You will need an arcgis account to download them. https://developers.arcgis.com/android/10-2/ Thanks Rama

Hi, We have seen this error reported from another source but with further debugging found that their app was incorrectly handling the orientation changes. In their case, the mapview was sent to a background activity/fragment and it is being disposed even before instantiating the mapview. If you have any code that you can share, it can help us debug further you case. You can use one of our samples, try to repro your workflow and share with us. https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android Thanks Rama

Hi, Can you elaborate your question a bit further. Does VIIRS mean Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite Imagery data that you are looking for? Or support reading such imagery datasets in Runtime Android ? Thanks Rama

Hi, This sample can be a starting point to achieve what you are looking for and build on top of it to enable or disable the views. https://developers.arcgis.com/android/java/sample-code/sync-map-and-scene-viewpoints/ Thanks Rama

Hi, From Runtime, you can save the map to your ArcGIS Online. And ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Desktop has tools to export your map. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/analyze/extract-data.htm Here is a create and save sample, https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android/tree/main/java/create-and-save-map Thanks Rama

Hi, You can either work with API Keys or OAuth for authentication and you seem to have chosen OAuth. https://developers.arcgis.com/android/security-and-authentication/ I looked at your FeatureService, you seem to have only one layer in it. If so, you might be better off just working with ServiceFeatureTable. https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android/tree/main/java/feature-layer-feature-service If you have multiple layers in your feature service, you can load them at once using ServiceGeodatabase. An example, https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android/tree/bd6ff32059f3956bed90c18b559c841b0cb683f1/kotlin/edit-with-branch-versioning Also, you get the loadError and see the error message incase of a load failure. Thanks Rama

FeatureServices cannot be grouped while publishing. Even ArcGIS Online also doesn't support it for Hosted FeatureServices. https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000012250 However you can group FeatureLayers on the client side in Runtime https://developers.arcgis.com/android/api-reference/reference/com/esri/arcgisruntime/layers/GroupLayer.html Thanks Rama

Looks like you are trying to access a connected layer without network connection. If you are specifically looking to work with an offline map that has a Basemap that works disconnected, then you can take one of the esri's Basemap offline and use it. The below samples do that by either downloading tile package from service or use an already downloaded tile package. https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android/tree/main/java/generate-offline-map https://github.com/Esri/arcgis-runtime-samples-android/tree/main/java/generate-offline-map-with-loca... Hi, The offline map should work without network as long as the layers within the map are accessible offline. What layers does your offline map have. And what does the load status of Map & the layers suggest when you opened them offline. Thanks Rama

Hi, ArcGIS MapServices do not support editing and sync operations. For editing (including sync), you need to work with FeatureServices. https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/map-service.htm https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/feature-service.htm Thanks Rama
