Hello, I posted the same message to `New Training Site : Highlights and Common Questions` as a comment. I'm sorry for cross-posting. As we all know ESRI e-learning model has been changed. I'm wondering how I can get e-Learning activity reports for my organization. Reporting tools are being designed as far as I know. Is there a release date for e-Learning activity reporting tools ?

Hi Ismael, Thank you for tips and solutions. I'm not sure if I correctly followed your instructions but the problem is solved Here is the workflow: 1. Added layers in FileGeodatabase to ArcGIS Desktop 2. Signed-in to Organizational ArcGIS Online account 3. Shared the layers as a service on ArcGIS Online and now I can see the descriptions. Regards - Omur.

Hi, I'm experiencing a strange problem when I add a completed survey to ArcGIS Online as a Filegeodatabase. There is no problem when I open a survey123 database in ArcGIS Desktop. The attribute table shows the collected data in field survey. However when I add the same geodatabase to my content on ArcGIS Online, I see choice1, choice 2, choice 3 etc. for dropdown type questions instead of selected values. I attached two screenshots showing the attributes of the same point both in ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Online. Am I missing something here ?

James, I'm sorry for not responding your comments earlier. Of course, the described solutions would work but there are limitations. I strongly believe that report functionality should be given higher priority. I hope and wish that the next version of Survey123 would have integrated a flexible report functionality. On the other hand, as you mentioned such functionality would be great benefit to the entire ArcGIS platform. 1 of 1 people found this helpful

Yes, data driven pages is an option but I still think it would be great if there is an option for Survey 123 to print (as pdf, word or excel file) completed surveys on a custom designed report separately or a single record including photo(s) taken using Survey123. Is anyone at ESRI could post a solution or suggestion ?

Hello Philip, Even your method is a manual process, it seems working. Could you please let me know the workflow to link the excel table to the word template to automatically fill in the values on the report ? On the other hand, using dynamic attributes with data driven pages might be a more efficient solution as Zoltan suggested but I'm not familiar with this method and need to understand to build the report I want.

Hello, I collected data using Survey123 to create inventory of Historical buildings in a small village. What I want is to build a custom report layout. Unfortunately, ArcGIS Desktop 10.4 report builder doesn't have such flexibility compared to Crystal Reports. In my case, each section in the report should get the selected attribute. The report would include a picture of the building, a map showing location of the building, and other details such as building type, building structure. So, I would be able to create and print report of the selected buildings. I attached the sample inventory form to clarify my question. I would appreciate if you could share your experiences and suggestions on this matter.

Hello, Some of the ArcGIS users in my GIS class bring a strange issue to my attention. Grid Index Features tool doesn't work at all. I tried myself to execute the tool but when I click on Grid Index Features nothing happens. They are using ArcGIS 10.4.1 desktop advanced. Some are using Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. I'm wondering that it is a known issue or I'm missing something here. Regards

Hello, I have 17 polygon layers and each layer has roughly 8000 polygons. What I want to do is to make a copy of polygon layers but only Object_ID, Shape Length and Shape Area fields should be transferred and all other fields should not be transferred to a new feature class. Is there any way to perform such an operation ? Regards

Hello, I want to export Survey123 data to excel to analyze and create charts in different styles. It's possible to view data and analyze in ArcGIS Online and I find `Analyze` tool is quite impressive. However, Excel offers more advanced data analysis functions. I tried to export data as a CSV file but when I open it in excel, I see the actual field names not alias as I expected. But the resulting table might be confusing for some users. Is there way to overcome this limitation ? Regards - Omur Saygin, PhD
