I think because you have only imported find_nearest from use_proximity, when you then reference use_proximity.find_nearest() it croaks. perhaps try just find_nearest() or otherwise - from arcgis.features import use_proximity

Possibly, it's been a while since I've done it. You shouldn't need to SetParameter(), just GetParameterAsText(). Run the script tool as normal, with any output path you like, then on publishing this path is interpreted and wrangled by the server.

Yes, your method would have done the same, it's the 'w' write argument which replaces a file if it exists. python - Difference between modes a, a+, w, w+, and r+ in built-in open function? - Stack Overflow you may wish to use the 'a' append argument or others. inPut = r'D:\Downloads\aatester'
arcpy.env.workspace = inPut
myList = arcpy.ListFiles()
for fileName in myList:
if fileName.endswith(".txt"):
out = inPut + "\\" + fileName[:-4] + ".txt"
print(out)
with open(out, "a") as k:

it would have to be arcpy.env.workspace = inPut As others have said, It's the arcpy workspace setting not being interpreted by the file.write() method. Without using the os module and os.path.join: inPut = r'D:\Downloads\aatester'
arcpy.env.workspace = inPut
myList = arcpy.ListFiles()
for fileName in myList:
if fileName.endswith(".txt"):
out = inPut + "\\" + fileName[:-4] + ".txt"
print(out)
with open(out, "w") as k:
k.write('Hellow')

It's been some time since I've done raster stuff in GP Tasks, but the widget should have an option to add to display. If you don't have that option it's probably because you don't have the output location as a parameter (on publishing this gets repathed to the server). I'm also guessing you're copying data to the server each time publishing? I'm sure you can run it locally, but what I meant was can you run the GP Server task as a service from ArcGISPro without error? I'm not sure how aprx CURRENT references would work on the server either.

what versions of stuff are you running? Is this the standard GP tool widget? There should be an option to add result to display. What happens when you run the GP task from arcmap/Pro?

ah ok, possibly this might help if it's exported as a hosted feature layer Download Item Data - Esri Community but unfortunately I can't test anything, and I'm straying away from my experience. Perhaps: from arcgis.features.manage_data import extract_data
shapefile = extract_data([getTheExportedItems])
shapefile.download('C:\\outFolder') good luck!

There should be a dropdown ' Overview Generation Options' which then has the relevant checkboxes: 'Generate missing overviews only' 'Regenerate stale overviews only' listed in tool parameters also here Build Overviews (Data Management)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation might be handy in the future.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean, but if you can get to your portal directory you'll then see folders named after the portal item IDs. In those folders you can edit the webapp/map .JSON to point to new rest endpoints/item IDs.
