Hello, I have been searching GeoNet for documentation on converting our current web address from http to https. I created my form using http but not sure what the impact will be when my agency makes the change. Thank you, Kevin

Hello Khaled, Here is what I tried in AGOL. Exported old service data to file GDB. Downloaded the zipped file GDB to my computer. Appended the zipped file GDB to new service. Check Global IDs between same record in both services. The Global IDs do not match. What this means is that I have lost my relationship between my Bridge hosted service Global ID and the Bridge GUID in my Bridge Inspection hosted service. I need to preserve the Bridge Global ID to have the relationship classes work. Are there certain settings in the AGOL append tool that needs to be set to maintain Global IDs? Thank you, Kevin

Hello Khaled, Thank you for your reply. One thing I did not clarify was that the new service has schema changes. I have added a new field and changed the field types of others. So the old service schema dose not match the new one. I know I can export the old service to a FGDB, but how would I load the records into the new service? Thank you, Kevin

I have created version 2 of my feature services and need to transfer the data from the old ones to new. There are relationship classes between the three services that are built on Global IDs and GUIDs. So the process needs to maintain the Global and GUID IDs What is the best practice for transferring data in AGOL? Thank you, Kevin

Hello Jay, Thank you for your reply. The timber volume is not an attribute of the line. We will have points with that data. I have been reading more and I was wondering if an origins destinations cost matrix analysis would work. The origins would be the timber volume point feature class that are at the end of the roads. We would have the destinations be the junctions of the forest roads to county roads. The timber volume would be accumulation cost attribute. My customer may want to display the routes so I may need to use closest facility analyses as the documentation points out. Would this be one approach? Thank you, Kevin

Hello, I am new to Network Analyst. I have been asked to determine accumulated timber haul volume over a forest road network. The analysis will be used to determine road maintenance needs due to higher haul volume. I have watched the training videos, but not seen an example of this type of analysis with Network Analyst. Here is my example. We have timber sale polygons with timber volumes. Road A ends at timber sale 1 which has a volume of 100. Road B ends at timber sale 2 and has a volume of 300. Both roads meet at Road C, which is the end of the road network. Road C would have a total volume of 400. What would be the type of analysis to perform to solve this questions? Thank you, Kevin

I found out I should be saving the survey in the Drafts folder instead of the Sent folder. Editing the draft survey allowed me to add photo. Thank you, Kevin

I have a photo question in my survey but can't take a photo after the survey has been submitted. I go to the Sent folder and select a survey and start to edit it. However, there is no camera icon to take a photo. Is there a way to take a photo after the survey has been submitted? Thank you, Kevin

Hello James, I read the linked question and it seem to have similar workflow to my question. I created the survey in Survey123 Connect with version 2.6.4 I am using Survey123 version 2.6.7 My repeat bind::esri:parameters is allowUpdates My repeat name is lower case One thing I remembered is that if you open the original survey again to edit, the repeat does show. If you save and send now the repeat shows in the service. However, if you make a new copy, then the original does not show the repeat. I have attached my XLS form. Thank you, Kevin

I have noticed that when you create a copy of a survey from the Sent box the repeats for the original survey are removed. Is this the software design for how repeats are managed within the Sent box? Below is the example of the workflow I am using. Create original survey with a repeat. Look at the survey data in the hosted service for the original survey. The repeat is there. Create a copy of the original survey from the Sent box. Look at the survey data in the service. The original survey has no repeat record. The copy does of the repeat record. This removes the history of capturing repeats for previous surveys. What is the reason for removing the repeats for the original survey? Thank you, Kevin

Hello Philip, Thank you for your response. Below are the answers to your questions. I created a Bridge Inspection application that uses both Collector and Survey123. This is because Survey123 can only have one repeat level. In my design, I have bridges related to inspections and inspections have related elements. Therefore, my bridges are in Collector and the inspections and elements are in Survey123. To maintain the relationship between bridges to inspections I used the Collector URL to pass the bridge GlobalID to the bridge GUID in the inspection. James Tedrick helped me set this up. Here is the general process I used. Create database in a file geodatabase with relationship class of Global ID to GUID. Create ArcMap document with data layers and save as service in AGOL. Set service to allow editing and share to editing group. In Survey123 Connect, create new survey by importing service. In XLS Form add a text question that has a Null field type for holding the related Global ID. In XLS Form add a text question that has a GUID field type. For the question name, use the same name as the GUID in the service. For the GUID question, use the following calculation to remove the curly brackets from the Global ID. if(regex(${brdg_guid_txt}, '^\{[\w\-]*\}$'), substr(${brdg_guid_txt},1, string-length(${brdg_guid_txt}) - 1), ${brdg_guid_txt}) In AGOL, create a web map with the related service to the one in Survey123. Use the following popup line. arcgis-survey123://?itemID=affe05ec8db8448daccb0688c9583ce8&field:brdg_guid_txt={GlobalID} See the post below for the whole discussion I had with James on how I implemented the GUID in the survey. https://community.esri.com/thread/208613-pass-global-id-from-collector-to-g?sr=inbox The esrifieldtype of the question is GUID. The GUID question does appear on the survey in the Inbox.

When I download surveys into the Inbox my GUID data is not transferring down from the service. The survey has a GUID field that is calculated from a Collector URL Global ID parameter. The GIUD values are present in the service when I look at the data through AGOL. However, after refreshing the Inbox the GUID question is null. Why would the Inbox surveys not download the value from the service? Thank you, Kevin
