Hi Reza, I don't see a way to configure the Survey widget within Experience Builder to do what you're looking for, but you could use the Embed widget instead and enable the "Show message to prompt the user to submit another record" on the Design tab for your survey in the Survey123 website. These settings do not carry through when you use the Survey widget, but it looks like they do when you use the Embed widget. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Sarah, I was able to get Photo_Print_Site_Summary_v4 working with the following changes (see attached): - Change end tag from ${/} to $</> - Change $<$Summary> to $<$summary> - Added a repeat to your summary table for the main layer, so now you can access the questions that are in the main body of the form. This is an old post, so you may not need this anymore, but I thought I'd pass it along just in case. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi @Anonymous User , I published a survey based on the XLS you provided, and I wasn't able to reproduce the error you were seeing when generating a report based on a sample report template (even after waiting a day). However I was able to reproduce the error when I used the report template you provided. I think the issue has something to do with the if statements that span two cells because removing the two cells within one of the if statements would cause the row to only have two cells while the rest of the table has four cells per row, which Word doesn't allow. One alternative might be to use an OR (||) operator and apply the if statement to the entire row, so the row will show if one of the two questions had a value. I'm not sure if this would make sense for your report content though. Best, -Barbara

Does the geotrace question need to be in the repeat for your workflow? If you moved it outside the repeat and used the same calculation method from your original XLS form (current geopoint concatenated with the next geopoint in the repeat), you would be able to see the geotrace based on two geopoints and wouldn't need to manually recalculate every time a geopoint is added or changed (see attached XLS form). As far as I know there isn't currently a way to change the default calculation behavior for the geotrace question inside the repeat. -Barbara

The behavior you're seeing appears to be caused by a bug that causes a repeat set by a repeat count to not set question values when editing the form from drafts. I've added this case to our repo so it can be addressed. In the meantime, you should be able to edit the time field from the inbox or sent box. Alternatively, you could remove the repeat count from the repeat and allow the user to manually add the repeat for each household member. This option isn't as ideal as your current configuration, but it's an option if you need to be able to edit repeats from the drafts folder. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Adrian, You could put one geopoint in a repeat and then calculate the geotrace outside the repeat with the sum() function. See the attached XLS. This XLS is an excerpt from the Line and Polygons sample survey, which demos a few other methods for working with lines and polygons that might be useful. It's available in Connect when you click on New Survey>Samples and search for Lines and Polygons. -Barbara

Sorry for the confusion, when I say the 'default feature layer symbology,' I was referring to the polygon layer. The way I understood your question was that in the report template, you have a geoshape question set to display a web map with the the mapSettings property (which would look something like ${geoshapeQuestion}|mapSettings:"[web map id]:0}), and that you tried to change the polygon symbology in the web map, but when you export the report, the symbology is different than what you set it to and is obscuring your point features. Is that correct?

Hi Derrick, I was able to reproduce the behavior you are seeing with the default feature layer symbology being visible when exporting geoshape questions using a web map. I’ve logged this as a bug, thank you for pointing it out. -Barbara

Hi Whitney, There isn't currently a way to create a line or polygon in QuickCapture and then open the associated survey in Survey123 based on the GlobalId or other unique ID, but you could use a custom URL scheme to open the Survey123 inbox with a filter. If you had a status field in your feature layer, you could populate it with a fixed value like "Survey needed" in QuickCapture, filter the Survey123 inbox for that value, and then update the value when completing the survey. A couple other options that may work in your use case is using the Survey123 collect by vertex method or linking to Survey123 from Collector. Best, -Barbara

Hi Rob, Try enclosing each condition in parentheses: ${if (inv_inspection_locations | selected:"WaterMain") || (inv_inspection_locations | selected:"CurbStop") || (inv_inspection_locations | selected:"Meter")} -Barbara

Hi Michael, One method for preventing unwanted returns from being shown in the exported report is to place them within the conditional statement in the template report. For example, if you move the end tag for the ${if type_of_shild | selected: "A"} conditional statement to just before the beginning of the next conditional statement, the return will only be included in the exported report if “A” is selected. ${if type_of_shild | selected: "A"} Schildinfo: ${summary_field} ${/}${if type_of_shild | selected: "B"} Schildinfo: ${summary_field} ${/} Thanks, -Barbara

Hello, You could eliminate the unwanted returns in the exported report by placing those returns inside the conditional statement in the template report. For example, if you change this: to this: there will only be a return after the ${if WaterType | selected:”fish_water”} section if that section is shown. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi Travis, You could use this syntax to generate a checkbox based on multiple fields: ${if ResponsibilityArea| selected:"Local"} ${if “FireHazard” | selected:"VeryHigh"} ☑ VH FHSZ in LRA ${/}${/} Another approach would be to create a "VH FHSZ in LRA" field in your survey that is calculated based on the ResponsibilityArea and FireHazard fields. You could then use that field to generate the check box in your report. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi George, The behavior you're seeing is because editing/adding attachments to a parent table from the inbox is not supported. As Alber said, the recommended method for adding a new attachment via the inbox is to put the image question in a repeat. Thanks, -Barbara
