Hi @AdriannaBarton, I've been assisting with taking a look at your form and it looks like there were three issues that are occurring in your survey. 1. Repeat values clear out in inbox forms for the 'page 2' repeat (line 16). I was initially able to reproduce the behavior you were seeing, but once I added 'query allowUpdates=true' to the repeat, I was able to see the values in the inbox as expected. You mentioned that you had already added 'query allowUpdates=true' to the repeat, but I didn't see it in the XLSForm you sent. Is this what you are seeing too? 2. Previously entered select_one value not visible in inbox even though value is present in feature service (line 65). This looks like a bug for select_one_from_file and select_one questions that have integers instead of strings for the label. I will create an internal bug issue for this. In the meantime, one potential workaround is to apply a minimal appearance to the select_one_from_file question. 3. The survey's inbox query is based on a field that can have two values: null or 'F'. The survey is no longer submitting null values, so the inbox query isn't working correctly (line 76 and 77). We've implemented a fix that should resolve this. It will be included in the next beta build of Survey123, which will be made available in the Early Adopter Community either tonight or tomorrow. Would you be able to test your survey on the beta build of the app once it becomes available so we can verify that it addresses the issue you're seeing? Thanks, -Barbara

In the field app a record will only show up in one of the 'boxes' at a time, so if you go into the sent box and press 'Empty' and then refresh the inbox, the record should appear in the inbox. It's also possible to disable the sent box in the settings in Connect if you only want to access records from the inbox.

Thanks for the XLSForm, on initial read through it looks like everything is configured correctly in the form. If you look at the survey details page in the field app is there a sent box along with the inbox?

@AKorsos No problem, are you not seeing any survey records at all in the inbox? Or is it just the repeat records that aren't showing up? If you aren't seeing any survey records at all, you could check to see if the sent box is enabled too. If the surveys are in your sent box then they won't show up in your inbox. If it's just the repeat records that aren't visible in the inbox, would you be able to share your XLSForm so we can take a more detailed look? Thanks, -Barbara

Hi @GarrettRSmith, Currently it is only possible to reference one feature service per survey form. Have you looked into app linking? This would provide a link that would open a specific survey in the field app. You can add a link in a survey form to link between surveys or you could link from another app like Field Maps. -Barbara

Hi @AliciaShyu, If you want the address location to be submitted to the survey feature layer, you would need to remove the null from the bind::esri:fieldType column in the PropertyConditionAssessment_point. Currently both of the geopoints in the XLSForm have a bind::esri:fieldType of null, which means neither of the geopoint questions are being submitted to the feature service. When there are no geopoint, geotrace, or geoshape questions configured to submit data to a feature service, the feature service is populated with the location information available from the device at the time the survey was opened. Hopefully I'm understanding your workflow correctly, please let me know if not. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi @AKorsos, If you add "query" to the bind::esri:parameters column for the begin repeat row, the previously submitted repeat records will be viewable when the crew accesses the survey record from the inbox. The CountSamples calculation will then be based on all the repeat records that have been submitted for that form instead of just the records added since the last time the survey was submitted. Also see the Repeats section in the Prepare for existing survey data section of the documentation for more info. -Barbara

Hi @Iron_Mark, Have you looked into the recent enhancement that allows you to show all the geopoint entries on one map for a geopoint that's in a repeat? The syntax would be ${repeat1.repeatLocation}. It's documented in the Map Questions section of the Survey123 feature reports documentation. If you used that approach, the centerpoint of the report map would be based on all the points. If that option doesn't work for your workflow, one way to filter for the approximate median repeat index would be to calculate it in the survey form, which might look something like this: type name label calculation begin repeat r1 r1 geopoint g1 g1 integer position position position(..) end repeat decimal center_position center_position round((count(${position})) div 2,0) Then you could use a where method in the report template to only show repeat records where the position question was equal to the center_position question. You can hide or change the marker symbol using the drawingInfo method, which will allow you to define the symbology based on either the current feature layer or by providing a URL to a different feature layer. This is also included in the Map questions documentation linked above. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi @vijaybadugu, Thanks for sending your XLSForm, the behavior you're describing sounds similar to this bug, where choices are duplicated when the survey is updated when the choices have more than 256 choices. Do either the LoggingHarvest_Survey123 or Loggingunits_Survey123 CSVs have more than 256 choices? If so that might point to this bug being the cause of the duplication. If you would be able to send the CSV lists and/or an error log file for when you update and open the survey, we can attach it to our internal issue for this bug. Thanks, -Barbara

Hi @elpinguino , Glad to hear that worked for you! It isn't currently possible to export a report to an Excel document, but it has been submitted by another user as an idea for a future enhancement to Survey123. If you upvote the idea with a kudo and add a comment describing how that feature would be useful for your workflow, it will help the idea gain more visibility when the product team is deciding which new features to add. -Barbara

Since the linked content is associated with a specific survey and the location status menu is more of a settings menu that isn't tied to a specific survey, it just shows the default basemaps. For the Gasparilla Random Points map do the feature layers have the same sharing permissions as the web map? -Barbara

Hi @Sean_McKnight, The screen shots of the field app looks like the location status menu. Can you see the linked web map in the field app if you open the map for a geopoint question within the survey? If you have the inbox enabled you could also check the inbox map to see if your linked map is visible. Thanks, -Barbara

Thanks for the update @KennethLindhardt1, this bug was addressed in the most recent release of Survey123 (Dec. 14, 2021). If you republish the survey from Connect 3.13.251, the read only settings should be respected for questions with minimal appearances. -Barbara

Hi @KennethLindhardt1, I just tested a survey with a URL parameter of mode=edit, and it looks like the read only questions are respected. Could you share your XLSForm so we can see if it might be a form-specific issue? Thanks, -Barbara
