Also this post may help https://community.esri.com/thread/202815-preserving-a-globalid-while-moving-data-between-feature-classes The other option to to change to a different key that you can reproduce. I do not use globalids for keys for all the reasons in this post https://community.esri.com/thread/166958 Hope that helps

Checking back in on this one as it has been over a year and a half now. Is it documented that is broke? Bug number? It still does not work. Also featureset is still not working either. The other suggestions on here do not work offline. Got a big project just waiting and waiting on this one. Also posted here Relationships Counts not displaying in Collector and similar here https://community.esri.com/thread/229709-are-the-arcade-featureset-functions-supported-in-collector Thanks

Confirmed and tested that I can not add CSV files to 123 in v3.10! Seems open to all files. Thank you!

When the message in a grid cells gets too long you get stuck. No way at all to hit the X at all. No way to click and change the value either. What can I do about this? thanks

Starting to struggle with offline maps now also. Been using 123 for a long time but have not dealt with the map much. We cover 11 states so linking TPKs files is not going to cut it. We are looking at it more now since we found you cannot type in any coordinates at all if you have no offline map in 123. There does not seem to be a download option like in Collector. I really wish you could point 123 to Collector since we have an offline map from Collector sitting right there. I talked to the team about this and they say tablet sandbox rules make it difficult. But the latest Collector versions do open up the files to the file system now (even on iOS) so it should now be possible. Users are confused as to why two esri products do not share maps or can talk to each other at all. (I would also really love for Collector to see the 123 database while offline). Map folder pick box is grayed out on iOS. Seeing what workarounds people are using for offline maps in 123? thanks

I totally agree I have been asking for this for years. Even talked to the team about it. I have no idea why they keep making basemaps with vector tiles. Vectors are for, well, vectors. Blending vector tiles for features and raster for basemaps seems like the perfect solution. I waited a year for vector tiles and then was like - oh why is it this way? I just do not get it. We ended up having someone build a 3rd party app to do it. We could stack up roads, streams, etc all over the top of a imagery basemap. Then we could turn them all on/off etc. Was so slick. Big upvote! https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/collector-for-arcgis/blog/2017/09/06/the-aurora-project One thing to try though. I found that if you build the vector tiles then upload it to AGOL as a layer you can add it to a map and it will take it offline for you. You can then stack them in. There is also now a way to update that central vector tile layer so then all your maps and tablets update. Of course when you have ok at best signal this is not so great. I like that I can sideload at specific times or mail out sd cards. Hope that helps

That kind of makes sense since when you go offline it creates a check out replica on the device. Whenever you create a new dataset Arc starts objectid back at 0. ObjectIds can change for all kinds of reasons. I suggest not using that as your ID. Hope that helps.

I have 9 to 13 related Feature classes to one main feature class and it works fine. I use my own IDs though and not globalid. I do not use globalids for keys for all the reasons in this post https://community.esri.com/thread/166958 Hope that helps

Agreed use Relationship classes. Reference point is the main feature with each inspection related to it. I do this using Survey123 See this post https://community.esri.com/thread/221263-mapping-with-survey123-within-a-polygon-or-admin-unit Hope it helps.

Yep that is the fancy way so that they are all linked. You do not really have to do all of this if you just want to pass data. You can just have 2 independent layers in Collector and see them sitting next to each other spatially. You can still pass data via a URL with them being related. Up to you on workflow. I just like how you can pick the original point and say show me all the forms collected here. The point is that Collector is spatial and tells you where to go. 123 when to collect data when you get there. Hope that helps.

Sorry but I am not following you. But maybe you mean you have say 2 contact people for 1 appt building? If so you could maybe have the lookup be name+repeatcount and then add a column to the csv that is buildingname1 and buildingname2.

Funny I just had to do this yesterday. The way I did it is to add a formula to the read only column. In once case I did it where this formula looks at a field later in the form to see if it is filled out. So Direction says Forward or backward then I put a read only formula of ${RecKey}!=''. This way as soon as they fill it out Direction goes read only. In other form I base it on a repeat count. The repeat is relevant based on Direction question not being ''. Once they fill in direction the repeat shows. Then in the repeat I have a count once(count(${RecKey})). Once the repeat shows up and they hit + the first record is created making the count = 1. I then have ${RecCount}>0 in the read only field of Direction. That is hard to type out so I hope it makes sense. Pretty slick. Basically pick a later question and go read only once they fill it out. Maybe images will help. Before Repeat appears Once they hit the + Direction goes read only. Hope that helps.
