Sorry I am a noob, but I am just new into programming with javascript and html. I created a web app using the web app builder tool from ArcGIS online, and I need to modify a few of the tools/widgets for my own consumption (and also to better understand how to code and build these apps in general). I am looking for a way to download, edit that code from the app that I built quickly. Is there a way to do this easily? Thanks in advance!

I am wondering if there is a template out there that has some of the same functionality as the Analysis Widget under the Web Mapping Application through ArcGIS Online. In particular I am looking for something that will allow for a selection of points and then execute an optimized route for the individual to take to reach all those points. Under the Web Mapping Application Analysis Widget, I can preform the optimized route, but there is not an easy function that can be used to select a number of points (whether it be through a rectangle, circle or geo fence).

Well I got it to work by starting from scratch and creating a brand new arcMap file. I republished, and it worked fine (with all the same parameters as the original publish). Not sure what happened or why is was happening that way, but it works now. I guess bugs just happen! Thanks for your time in trying to help me ascertain this problem!

I have two separate datasets that I am publishing to ArcGIS online. One is a point file with 2300 points and another is a line file with 230 lines. After I publish to ArcGIS online, I am seeing a total of 200 features (176 lines and 24 points). Can anyone explain why I only 200 items are publishing, and what can I do to get all that information in? Thanks in advance! Clinton

my ultimate goal is to get the arcpy module to run in spss 22 which is built on the Python 2.7.1 x64 framework. However even when I put the DTBGGP64.pth file in the site-packages folder of that module, I get the same exact traceback error that it cannot find Numpy Clinton

I am trying to set the Python IDLE 2.7.6 x64 to run the arcpy module from ArcGIS x64 bit geoprocessing (10.2.2). I copied the file DTBGGP64.pth from C:\Python27\ArcGISx6410.2\Lib\site-packages to C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages that is written as:
C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\bin64
C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\arcpy
C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\ArcToolbox\Scripts
when I then open the python 2.7.6 x64 IDLE and run the following command : import Arcpy, I get this error
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<pyshell#0>", line 1, in <module>
import arcpy
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\arcpy\arcpy\__init__.py", line 24, in <module>
from arcpy.toolbox import *
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\arcpy\arcpy\toolbox.py", line 356, in <module>
from management import Graph, GraphTemplate
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\arcpy\arcpy\management.py", line 22, in <module>
import _management
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\arcpy\arcpy\_management.py", line 14, in <module>
import _graph
File "C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2\arcpy\arcpy\_graph.py", line 27, in <module>
import numpy
ImportError: No module named numpy
it seems to me that the 10.2.2 x64 bit python is pointing to the 32 bit python library. I have tried substituting the code from: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.2/index.html#//002z00000008000000
c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2.2\arcpy
c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2.2\bin
c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Desktop10.2.2\ArcToolbox\Scripts
I get the error that it cannot even find the arcpy module. Any thought on how to solve this? Thanks in advance!

I have a large dataset where I need to run a lot of calculations. it contains roughly 100 fields. I have created a script that runs an update cursor to calculate some new fields based on a few other fields. Well I am running into the problem where if there is a zero in the field that is a divisor, I get this error: Runtime error Traceback (most recent call last): File "<string>", line 36, in <module> ZeroDivisionError: float division by zero I am looking for how to construct an if statement that will first determine if the calculation will create this error, then if it does, it will make the value 0 my first try of this: if ((row[32]/row[3])/(row[30]/row[3]) =0): row[84]= (row[32]/row[3])/(row[30]/row[3]) else: row[84]= 0 did not work. Any help on how to make this if statement work would be much appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!! Clinton

I am trying to do some research on developing a good geocoding file either from Tiger data or from Streetmap data. I have found the data that comes available through ArcGIS (Streetmap) and was wondering what I can do to create a new address locator from that data. In particular, I would like to take one state and create a new locator from that data. As I looked through the data, I have found that there is not city/placename field in the 2013 version street data. However, there are point files that do include city and zip files My question is this, do I have to upgrade to the premium version in order to have access to this additional data in order to create a new locator from part of the data? If not, what steps do I need to go through in order to get the city and or zip properties into the street map file in order to create the locator? Thanks in advance!! Clinton
