Hi Peter, You solved it! The standardized SQL queries were turned off last week while an ESRI tech tried to help me troubleshoot what I though was a potential SQL injection. I just reversed that setting and now I can see the created_date and last_updated_date. Thank you very much for your help!

I tried adding a dummy field but that didn't seem to help. Unless I'm not adding it in the right place within the .XLS Form? I tried both the if(dummy=yes, pulldata, pulldata) in the calculation field as well as adding the dummy=yes in the relevant column. I think the issue for me is with a counter value that I have set up to keep track of where to lookup in the .csv within the repeat. I did a test and added a manual counter, basically asking the user to input the hydrant number they wanted to flush and that did seem to return the appropriate values when editing an existing survey .However, I was still unable to move on to the next hydrant within the repeat. I might just have to redesign this whole thing, and have one survey per hydrant... Unless someone else has some ideas! There was one way I found I could edit an existing survey and be able to get the pulldata to work properly. It worked if at the beginning of the survey I cycled through all the hydrants that needed to be flushed within that repeat. I could then save a draft or even send the survey and be able to edit the responses. Thank you!

Is anybody else having issues creating a filter based on the created_date or last_updated fields in Map Viewer Classic? I have a number of existing maps that are now broken because the filters don't work anymore. I noticed these two fields are no longer available in the pick list for a filter.

Sorry, I feel like a dummy 🙂 So is the dummy field something that the survey responder would flip yes/no when returning to edit an existing survey?

Thank you Doug. Can you provide some more information on using the dummy field? I am not sure I understand how that would work.

I have a survey that uses the pulldata function within a repeat to prepopulate info from several .csv files that are stored in the Media folder. I would like to be able to edit a partially completed survey, but it seems like the pulldata function will not retrieve the data from the .csv past the last record that was inspected. The survey is for hydrant flushing and depending on which day of the week is selected, the user has to step through a list of hydrants that need to be flushed in a certain order. One day of flushing= one survey submitted. I would like to change the workflow and allow people to save a draft after each hydrant flushed or submit a partial survey and be able to edit that survey as they move to the next hydrant. I have looked at previous posts that mention the esri::bind:: paramater field and tried to add the "allowUpdates=true query" statement but that didn't help. I am able to continue editing within the repeat, but I can't see the hydrant info from the .csv file. Thank you!

Thank you, I do have the poster and it is a handy resource! The laterals are in a separate layer than the mains. I do have a few other point layers in the dataset. For instance I have a tap layer and I have been testing a combination of these two rules: 1) Taps must be covered by sewer mains. 2) Taps must be covered by endpoint of laterals. The problem with this, we don't have all taps GPSed/digitized and also we have lots of taps but no laterals (these came from CCTV inspections of the mains) I was hoping there was a simpler way to check the connectivity of the two layers, but maybe I do need to go a different route. Thanks!

Is there a topology rule I could use to check whether my sewer lateral lines are correctly snapped to my sewer mains? I have looked at "Must not intersect" which will identify if there are any overshoots but I can't find a rule that would find the undershoots. Thanks!

Hi Barbara, Thank you for the suggestion. I happen to already have a counter set up in this survey so I've been trying to figure out how to set it up. I have it working right now, but it occurred to me that if the first hydrant in the repeat(so counter=1) does not have any damage reported, then I'll end up with a blank page at the beginning. I think what I need is a counter that keeps track of the hydrants with damage, so I can have a section for the first damaged hydrant and then a section for all the rest. Unless there is another place to add the "if counter" statement that I'm not thinking about? Unfortunately we just went live with the survey today so I can't add more fields to my form but I will try it once this round is complete. Alina

I am trying to figure out if there is away to use page break or section break in Word to separate individual items within a repeat and have them show on a new page. I have a survey set up for our hydrant inspections. There is a repeat set up that cycles through all the hydrants within a flushing zone. I want to create a report that shows only those hydrants where damage was reported during flushing, but I would like each hydrant to show up on a new page. I have tried to insert a "page break" in several places but can't get it right. I believe the page break would have to be somewhere within the conditional statement, otherwise I get blank pages after every hydrant within the flushing zone. However, I either get an extra blank page at the beginning of the report or at the end depending on whether the insert page break is at the beginning of the if statement or at the end. Here is a what the template looks like. I am very new to this, so it might not be the cleanest report... And attached is the sample report generated from this template.

After another closer look at the Join Features Analysis tool I discovered the "Keep all target features" checkbox .This is exactly what I need! Now I can apply a filter on one of the fields from the inspection table in order to create my layer of assets that still need inspection.

Thank you Tyler. I have used your first recommendation on one occasion, however it wouldn't work here because the inspections are in a separate layer than the hydrants. The field crew only edits the inspections. We also use Survey123 and pass the AssetID from the hydrant to the inspection so we can keep track of them.

Doug, Could you provide a little more information on the workflow that uses Arcade? All my layers are stored in ArcGIS online, they were published originally as empty feature classes from Pro without a relationship built. So I assume there is no way in ArcGIS online to define a relationship at this point, correct? Thank you! Alina
