I don't know how I never realized that before! I guess because they're not labeled as "Story Map" on the Content page. Thank you!!

Hello! I've spent the last three days working on a story map in Classic Story Maps. Today, when I click "Sign In" from the My Stories page I am directed to the usual sign in screen where I enter my credentials (I have an ArcGIS Online account, not Enterprise), but then the My Stories page opens back up and I am not logged in. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I have tried Chrome, Edge, and Firefox browsers. I can't access my stories and I'm worried I just wasted three days working on my story map. Any thoughts?

Basically. I suppose that's my question. Is there a way to set Network Analyst to know that X number of people are traveling between Census Block A and Census Block B based off the Total Jobs field? This way I don't have to join the Route output back to my original table. It sounds like that's my best course of action!

I've read about the Copy Traversed Source Features tool. That workflow sound similar to what I had envisioned might work. Yes, I was wondering if there is a way to factor in the Total Jobs before (or during) running the Network Analyst without having to create thousands of point features to represent the number of people (jobs) commuting from Point A to Point B. I'm working with a table from the Census Bureau that has the Workplace Census Block (w_geocode), Residence Census Block (h_geocode), Total Jobs (S000), and other information about jobs. Total Jobs is essentially the number of people commuting between the Workplace CB to the Residence CB. I want to calculate "there are X amount of people commuting from their Residence CB to their Workplace CB (Residence CB and Workplace CB being my Stops and matched with the Route Name)". I hope this describes my problem a little better. I appreciate your input!

Hello! I want to calculate the number of people in a network who travel along a certain route. I have been developing a workflow for weeks to map commute trips and I finally figured it out... mostly. I have a point feature with Stops and Route Names used in the Route Network Analyst layer. The Routes show exactly what I expected and I found a few other threads to help summarize the number of overlapping routes at specific intersections. However, I also have a field in my point layer that lists the number of people ("Total Jobs" in the image below) traveling between Stops. Is there a way to factor this in to the Route analysis? As is, the Route analysis assumes one trip going from Point A to Point B. I need to set the number of people travelling between Stops from the Total Jobs field in the point feature layer. Short of creating duplicate points at each Stop location to represent the number of people (which I do not want to do), I'm afraid my only option is to use joins and manually add this count later. I would love if there was a way to essentially duplicate the Routes output by the number of Total Jobs. Any suggestions?

Not really. Unfortunately, the Suitability Modeler is very finicky. I find I have better luck with saving the full resolution raster to a geodatabase, copying all my rasters to a new local geodatabase and working completely locally, and cutting down the rasters to as small an area as possible. I don't think I've ever run a Suitability Model without running into an issue or Pro crashing on me at least once! Which is really unfortunate because I use it a lot!

Yes! I think my issue was I did not create the relationship class between a GlobalID and GUID. I ended up just starting from scratch - deleting the feature and table from AGOL, removing the original relationship class and creating a new one in Pro, re-publishing the layer, recreating the form in Survey123, etc - and it worked. Here is a link to the tech doc I found that walks you through setting up the relationship class: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000015422. I have other documentation saved that could help if this doesn't solve your problem.

I created a form in Survey123 for field workers to fill out during inspections, but I can not view the results in AGOL. I have an Outfall layer attached to an Outfall Field Screening Report through a Relationship Class created in ArcGIS Pro. I published the Outfall layer to AGOL and have successfully linked the feature layer to a survey and collected results. The results appear in the Survey123 web browser and in the standalone Outfall Field Screening Report table in AGOL, but not as related records in the Outfall attribute table. I want to open the related table from the Outfall pop-up, but when I click on Show Related Records it says "No results found" when there are results from the survey. I don't know why the feature layer is not recognizing there are results in the related table! Any ideas?

I am using the Suitability Modeler in ArcGIS Pro 2.6.2 but every time I run the model at full resolution to use with Locate, I get a Process Failed! message. Unlike every other tool, there is no documentation as to why this failed. Has anyone else run into this issue and know what is going wrong? I've run models in the past, but I just updated the software with the new 2.6.2 patch and wondering if that has something to do with it. site suitability suitability modeler process failed arcgis pro 2.6.2

Hi SUSHIL LAMICHHANE! I know this a really old post but I am experiencing this problem and wondering if you can help me? I have a model that creates a summary table for each unique record in a field. I am using the Calculate Value tool to remove spaces and other invalid characters from the %Value%; my output tables use %Name%. However, the name of the first output is "1" and the second table is what the first table should be and so on. Do you have a solution to this?

Hi Natalie Robbins! I don't know if you figured out your issue, but I have been using model builder and inline variables lately; here is what I have found. The error may have something to do with the %Name% having spaces or other invalid characters that can't be used in feature class names. For example, if the name of the road is "South St.", the tool is trying to create a feature class name of "South St._Reclass" which is invalid because of the space and period. You have to run the Calculate Value tool with a python script to replace any invalid characters. I'll gladly share a model I am creating if you (or anyone else who sees this thread) are still having this issue. A question for you if you have found a solution by now, do you find the output name skipping a %Name% and just returning the iteration? I have a model that outputs summary tables for each unique road name. The output name is set up as "PopSum_%Name%" but the first output table is "PopSum_1" when it should be "PopSum_FrostyValley". The second output table is "PopSum_FrostyValley" when it should be "PopSum_I80" and so forth. It's like the inline variable doesn't line up with the unique table value. Any thoughts?

Wow! This is a great example! Thank you for sharing! I will definitely send this along to our engineers and municipality as a way GIS can save time, money, and resources.

This is fantastic! Thank you! I was wondering about the visibility of hub sites. For the most part, the apps will be private, but I'm glad to know there are options to control viewer permissions. I know the municipality wants to protect their data, but I know the value of sharing information with the public and want to push that when I can. Our principal engineer has been working with this municipality for years and he is overwhelmed with all the options and directions we can take this! I guess it comes down to pinpointing what project is a high priority, but also has a quick turn around and high ROI.

Great insight! I've worked with municipalities where the technology (or lack of) is a huge barrier! I don't think that is our issue right now. The municipality really supports the technology, they purchased an iPad specific for field collection, but the technology just isn't being used to its full potential. The data is there, but I think the attitude is "now what do we do with it?" Maybe the disconnect lays in the municipality not seeing long term benefits of a GIS for asset management. For example, we'd love to be able to use an app to monitor street curbs - the status, when they were inspected, when will they need to be replaced, etc. We have shapefiles to represent curbs and basic attributes, but they are not always being updated when new information comes along. I like what you said about creating a hub specific for field work. I think there is a lot of field collection happening, but the field data is not necessarily making it to the web map. If there was a hub for field personnel to access the tools they need, it keeps them separate from AGOL, which I would help manage.

Joe, Thank you for the comment. Creating a demo project is something we've thought of. The app you sent even gives me the idea of creating a storymap that demonstrates all the different types of municipal planning avenues we can go down in terms of web mapping to showcase how all the data can work together.
