It allows string and integer types to be searched. When we have to control input of a field, we must use coded domains. When we need to search something in a web map or in an application.... Let’s get it in here.

Best regards, -Peter Good Morning Peter Klingman, No - I have not found a way to store credentials with referenced items in Distributed Collaboration. Thank you for describing your testing workflow. I believe that I did the same thing the other day. I also tested the other storing credentials piece you mentioned (not in a collaboration) and it worked wonderfully. Thanks! --Adam

Thank you . I need to update GeoEvent because of another issue anyway, so I will try this in another environment after the upgrade is complete.

Note: Environment is Enterprise GIS / Portal for ArcGIS and Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS at v10.6 Hi everyone! I am having a little trouble with the Details Element and Coded Value Domains. The coded value is not appearing in for any fields in the Details Element. For a quick look, I took a pic of the Details Element on the right and a popup of the same record on the right: Now, the coded values show up in the filter for the Details Element and in all the other elements that I have used so far, including List, Pie Chart, and Serial Chart - in both filters and actual content in each fully configured Element. Might something be wrong with the Details Element? Thanks, --Adam

Funny... Made the version typo after the update from 10.5.1. That doesn't exactly help, but at least lets me know that I have a long patch of work ahead of me. Thanks. --Adam

I am having trouble using the Indicator - well, most of the data-driven elements when wanting to use a certain percentage of.... Heck, I have trouble even describing it. This is in Portal at 10.6: I have a map service that contains a test grid, basically squares that cover Pennsylvania. Each grid square has a value for County (County Name that the grid square falls mostly in) and a value for Result (Pass, Fail). I need to create an Indicator or Gauge that shows the Percentage of Passes in GREEN if >= 95% of the total number of tests are 'Pass', and the same in RED if < 95% of the total number of tests are 'Fail'. I don't really need count numbers. I will then let a category selector filter the element for either specific counties or "ALL" counties. Has anyone accomplished this type of configuration? I feel that these are probably not the tools I'm looking for, or the data format i'm looking for! Thanks, --Adam

Renaming runtime.geodatabase, currently this is not possible . I am running a product called Geomaster Mobile on both Android and Apple devices, This utilises a Geodatabase runtime Database. Developed by Integral in Rotorua New Zealand. As my data natively resides on a SDE server under aSQL Server, I have an issue whereby if I try to split data from many feature datasets into separate databases, currently it names these the same in my case xyzcore.geodatase . I was hoping there was a way to store the data in separate runtime geodatabases and name them slightly differently and still house them inside a single folder structure. I see how ESRI do it by creating a folder sub-structure for each dataset. But this I think is not so transparent in Apple Iphone Ipad devices, it may work for Android. The net effect is the application doesn’t know where to look for the data if it resides in sub-directories. I was hoping there was a way I can choose independent names for the xyzcore.geodatabases and in the same folder on the device. Eg As all these feature classes reside inside xyzcore. So make a mxd with only a few data featureclasses named forest and stand AAA , BBB, CCC out of xyzcore and push forest and stand to AAA.geodatabse as one runtime geodatabase, likewise road and hydrography then sit inside say BBB.geodatabase, plots and stratum sit inside CCC.geodatabase etc etc. I tried the logical approach of just renaming the geodatabase file via windows explorer but for some reason, structure of the runtime.geodatabase is governed by its source name, I assume it has a masterdb table header or xml document type descriptor that sets the scene of what each file name contains. I have yet not figured a way to rename the runtime geodatabse inside of an arctool or script if there is such a tool or method. As the create runtime geodatabase arctool doesn’t provide a name for the output . Is this possible or not maybe via some other lower lying python script or some convertor tool is added to allow renaming of these? I also tried adding the .geodatabase file type in Arc Catalog File otions this does give me a method to rename the geodatabase but I have also found it makes ArcGIS run extremely slow if not crashing ARCGIS often or never actually starting an ARCGIS desktop session.. As per a known issue with custom file types being added to the Arc Catalog "pool" of file extension types. So what I would want is ESRI to write a the rename or file name choice function into the runtime creation tool or build a tool to do the renaming.

Yes, I tried the 0.1 and i ask to one of my coworkers about the refresh time for the data and it is 1min app. So if i set up the time that u suggest it will work for sure. Hm another thing i noticed, in edge the refresh Interval for dynamic is making the layer does some snapping, but in chrome that snapping doesnt exist. Weird. Thanks for all ur help

Hello Adam, Many thanks for your extensive answer and description ! At this moment I cannot reproduce this recipe because of a problem with our GeoEvent-Manager. What you describe is chaining GeoEvent-services communicating texts by TCP-sockets. This needs management privileges on both OUT and IN services. My intention was to have an input-connector for GE receiving events from an ArcGIS Service by WebSocket communication. So GE acts just as one of the clients connected to a (public) service. Thanks again, Roland

This is available within Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS. I just have not been successful with it on rapidly changing datasets of 700 or more records in a SQL based SDE. I need to try it with #big data store backed Services. .
