Hi Kylie, The same tool also exists in ArcGIS Desktop. https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/data-management-toolbox/generate-tile-cache-tiling-scheme.htm Here is a technical article outlining this workflow: https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000012213 Best, Calvin

You can build the tile cache locally using the Create Tile Package geoprocessing tool, and then upload it directly to ArcGIS Online through the Content tab -> Add Item. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/data-management/create-map-tile-package.htm With this workflow, you can check that the tiles finished generating by monitoring the status of the geoprocessing tool. Web maps inherit the coordinate system of the basemap, so if you use this tile layer as the basemap, it should display just fine in the map viewer.

Hi Alex, If there are a limited number of values that the editors are providing, then you could look into configuring domains on the feature service: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/geodatabases/overview/an-overview-of-attribute-domains.htm Other than that, it may be possible to use attribute rules, but I personally haven't seen this done before. Maybe try posting over on that product page as well: https://community.esri.com/t5/attribute-rules/ct-p/attribute-rules -Calvin

Hi Lucas, I'm not 100% sure whether this exists in the Portal Map Viewer (maybe using Arcade expressions?), but have you tried setting the symbology as desired in ArcGIS Pro, and then publishing the service? Based on the following technical article it looks like multiple attribute symbology is possible, so I wonder if publishing a new service form this layer would work for you: https://support.esri.com/en/Technical-Article/000020118 -Calvin

Hi John, Are you talking about Portal for ArcGIS groups that are based on your Windows accounts? Just wanted to make sure you're talking about something other than enterprise groups: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/create-groups.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_5E3FFFAA1B7E443FBB1E483E070B1979 -Calvin

Hi Iris, One thing I always like to try regarding ArcFM is to disable the extension and publish again. As a simple feature class, does the service publish successfully?

Hello, You can generate your own tiling scheme using the Generate Tile Cache Tiling Scheme geoprocessing tool Here, you can specify the coordinate system, scales, and other parameters to be used by a tile cache. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/tool-reference/data-management/generate-tile-cache-tiling-scheme.htm Then, when sharing the service, instead of using the default ArcGIS Online tiling scheme, browse to the XML file created by the geoprocessing tool, and the caching properties will be changed. See the "Tiling Scheme File" option here for more information: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/sharing/overview/configure-web-tile-layer.htm The only caveat here is that if you are generating the tiles in ArcGIS Online, credit prices should be taken into consideration. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/administer/credits.htm

Hi Molly, When logging in to your Portal organization, to you have the option to sign in either as an ArcGIS built-in user or as an Enterprise user? Do they both involve a redirect during authentication? As for your main point, I don't believe that geoprocessing services containing ArcGIS API for Python can be successfully executed. However, the reverse is possible, where the Python API can reference published geoprocessing services and execute them from within the script. Thanks, Calvin

Hi Molly, Do you have enterprise logins configured with your Portal organization? If so, please take a look at the following link for working with different authentication schemes in the ArcGIS API for Python. https://developers.arcgis.com/python/guide/working-with-different-authentication-schemes/#User-authentication-with-OAuth-2.0 Let me know if this helps. -Calvin

Hi Jay, You are actually not supposed to modify the sharing settings of the living atlas layers or group in your Portal organization. This warning is repeated several times in the documentation outlining this workflow: Configure Living Atlas content—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise I would recommend reviewing the above link, and trying to reconfigure Living Atlas layers following the specified workflow. Hope this helps! -Calvin
