I can also add that this happens on "Feature Service" types.

Did you upgrade your ArcMap? It seems you have a concurrent license getting license from a license server of an outdated License Manager version. It may be not on your machine, license server can be on another computer. Find and open an ArcGIS Administrator. There you will find a name of a license server machine. It seems you should upgrade your license manager software on your license server. https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/license-manager/10.6/arcgis-administrator.htm https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/license-manager/10.6/arcgis-license-manager.htm https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/license-manager/10.6/concurrent-use.htm

We use MSQL Server 2016 and everything seems compatible with Entrepise 10.9. It is located on another non-federated server though, without any ArcGIS compenents installed. Therefore, to create an EGDB, I understand we should buy a new SQL licence for our own server and replicate data, but I guess it's not worth it since we want ro read the data only. My ERP administrators won't give me any administrator rights to modify data or create views. However, they could prepare the different queries/views in advance. Those would not change over time. I've very poor knowledge in SQL, Python and database maintenance so this solution seems easy for me. Another option is to use spatial views joining layers with SQL ERP tables. Please, could somebody develop this a bit more ? With ArcGIS Pro, this is straightforward to publish copy of data as hosted feature layer on the default Data Store (hosting server). However, I understand that this situation is different and would require to register the data source of the ERP SQL tables with Portal at least , otherwise the joins would be static. Is it correct ? Is this Python workflow really the best method for me, if the SQL views can be joined directly with my polygons ? Thank you in advance.

I'm getting this message as well. I'm attempting to publish a weblayer to enterprise. I exported to PNG from EGDB and then tried publishing the PNG file. The work around worked for two other raster datasets but I'm encountering the issue with a raster that is 14.5GB when exported out of EGDB to png format.

Hello, We have a lot of code developed with WAB Dev. Edition. Now we want to move to Experience while saving the conversion effort. Is there a tool which can (semi) automatically convert from WAB to Experience? Of course, I am aware that fully functional conversion is challenging but such a tool could save me some time. Thanks in advance!

Seems to be a data problem more than environment. Was the script tested at Pro and Portal on the same data?

Derek, I kinda knew that already, but just wanted to be sure I hadn't missed anything. I like the idea of the Query View. I believe this would work well and I also believe I could connect to the actual database in PostSQL using Excel. If this is true, then perhaps the specific staff members could update the tables and these updates would be reflected in the query view. Thanks for the nudge James

Try to use Pro. Pro is 64 bit and will use 64 bit Oracle client. Desktop is 32 bit and needs 32 bit client.

The version is defined by two parameters: capacity and functionality. Here's a good explanation by ESRI: https://www.esri.com/content/dam/esrisites/en-us/media/brochures/arcgis-enterprise-functionality-matrix.pdf

Hello, I added a view from PostGIS to MXD and defined a primary key column. Unfortunately, when I published the service, the primary key was lost. I can query only displayed features in a data table widget, when I query a non-displayed features, I got an error about missing primary key in REST.

We have servers that cannot use that utility. It is blocked by firewall or something. Is there a manual process to identifying which patches are needed?

What you need is local editing without a service. I don't know if it's possible with Collector. There is mobile map package: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/data-management/create-mobile-map-package.htm I'm not sure it will work with Collector. You can publish your content to ArcGIS Online and use the Collector with it.

I wouldn't alter the list - it has been put together this way by the Esri Security team to be very specific about what gets blocked. There are some other endpoints that you would block with a less specific rule that may prevent (for example) publishing or overwriting services or sharing Portal items.

Hi Michael The APPLICATIONINTENT and MULTISUBNETFAILOVER conditions described in the support documentation refer to additional options which are available when using SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups - you can choose not to use them in the connections, but as the article describes, this will essentially default to APPLICATIONINTENT=READWRITE and MULTISUBNETFAILOVER=NO. The key thing when changing from a standalone server to AAG is to connect to the AAG listener instead of the database server. e.g. if the original server isGISSQL01, and we're adding GISSQL02, then there will be an AAG listener (kind of like a load balancer) in front of these servers with a DNS entry called something like GISSQL. If the connections still refer to GISSQL01 and this server becomes unavailable, then traffic will not automatically failover to GISSQL02. This will only work as intended by connecting to the GISSQL listener. Cheers Craig
