We are using SQL 2012 r2. All servers are running Win 2012 server.  We are a 10.2 SDE. I am wanting to replicate several feature datasets of an SDE geodatabase to a file geodatabase.  I'm setting up several replicas, based on the various feature datasets and moving the data to a single file geodatabase.  I'm also selecting only the feature classes from each feature dataset I want, sometimes selecting the entire feature dataset, but not always.  We are choosing Simple because we are not using topologies, geometric networks, etc.  We are selecting Get_Related to bring related tables/classes with the move.  My problem is that sometimes the replica doesn't move all of the feature classes I selected.  Sometimes it does, but sometimes it doesn't.  There is no error in results and the properties don't show the missing feature classes as part of the replica. We have a 10.4.1 MXD with sewer pipes and manholes.  We are using a multi value symbology and multi labeling for the sewer pipe line work.  When we push a service out onto a 10.4.1 ArcGIS for Server (on VM), and then view the service, the sewer pipe line work disappears at a scale constraint change for the labels for the sewer pipe line work.  If we push the service out onto our old physical 10.2 ArcGIS for Server and view the service, the sewer pipe line work does not disappear - it works correctly. We have worked with ESRI support and have compressed and reindexed the data.  We are asking if anyone else has experienced this scenario, and if so, what was the fix?  ... View more

We are setting up an environment to push out from our Edit SDE Geodatabase to a Publish File Geodatabase.  Our plan is to use the Edit SDE Geodatabase with ESRI's Collector App for updates to our GIS.  And to use our Publish File Geodatabase as the warehouse for our GIS to push out REST services.   At the center of our discussion is the 'how' to move the data from the Edit SDE Geodatabase to the Publish File Geodatabase.  We would like to address the group and collect ideas on what best practice options would be.  Should we do a check-out replica?  A truncate and append?  Or would there be a way for Publish File Geodatabase to listen for changes to Edit SDE Geodatabase and pick up those changes?  ... Is there a way to export, to excel, a list of all feature dataset and feature classes?  Essentially everything that is in the geodatabase.  I can export to XML, but how would I get it to excel?  And, how could I tell where there feature classes or tables that where installed when the LGIM was installed, but do not contain any data? ...
