Network DataSet - Bus Routes

Hi There,

I am currently a student taking GIS. I have an independent project to complete and i have came up with an amlgamation of 2 seperate schools into one. I must design a new efficient bus route system taking into accounts all of the old stops. I have a roads feature class(Lines), Bus stops(points). The stops are not connected to the road feature class as they are house address locations. I am stuck on setting up my network dataset. Any help would be much appreciated.

I can not help you in setting up your network dataset from scratch as I had the same problem and could not figure it out. However, ESRI does supply one.

Do you have a �??Data and Maps�?� DVD?   It contains network datasets that can be used with Network Analyst.

Look for a directory called "DataMaps10".
