Welcome back to Telecom GIS in Five Minutes. Before you know it, we are now back with the 40th episode as we are heading into the holiday season and the new year ahead.

And I would like to use this opportunity to recap what we have covered in the last couple of episodes before we close the year. Now let's get it.

We definitely put a lot of focus on enabling our field crew to make sure they have sufficient solutions for data collection, fielding engineering, and bringing back that information with seamless communications. In episode 31, we covered the release of a new ArcGIS Field Maps app for Integromat. Using the new Field Maps Integromat app, you can easily connect ArcGIS Field Maps with many other apps and services to perform an action immediately after data is submitted. By doing so, you can streamline field workflows by automating repetitive tasks or triggering important business processes when events happen in the field.

In episode 37, Patrick has highlighted some newer capabilities in ArcGIS around creating an application to collect photo inspections and viewing those in an oriented imagery viewer. And In episode 38, I also shared a sleek trick to customize your next Survey123 project with picture annotation functionality which might be super handy when you need to do some quick sketch in the field.

Then we have episode 33, in which Patrick walked us through some ways that we can customize ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise Portal Homepage and he showed us some procedures that we can create an Experience Builder app that can be leveraged as that main interface into a portal, which provides a little bit more of a tailored experience for the end-users.

And in episode 34, which I would describe as a "looking ahead" discussion, sharing some of our thoughts on one of the hottest topics regarding GIS, Digital Twin, and Metaverse. And discussed how Telecom, Geospatial Intelligence, and "Digital Twin" can work together to create such a new world on the horizon.

One of the key components of a digital twin is the ability to monitor all the things happening within it in real-time. Kyle brought us an episode (ep32), which highlights the power of ArcGIS Velocity, enabling all telecom organizations with real-time and big data capabilities from ArcGIS Online. The product allows us to easily build real-time feeds and analytics which ingest data, analyze that data to get real-time and historical insights, trigger alerts as data comes in, and take action when necessary.

There comes the ArcGIS 2021 Q4 release. In this episode (ep36), we covered some highlights on ArcGIS Solutions updates, ArcGIS Online and Enterprise updates, and so on, where we are bringing new functionalities and performance improvement to you via this release on the suite of products.

We carefully picked two of those new solutions that we want to showcase and put them in two different episodes. Start with episode 35, where Kyle walked us through carefully the network path planner solution. It is an ArcGIS Pro geoprocessing tool that uses Network Analyst to help plan fiber routes from A to B, or from multi-point to multi-point. Network Path Planner provides an accurate, repeatable process to design a new communications network. It reduces the amount of time and local knowledge required to connect new sites to your existing network; thus reducing CAPEX costs.

And last week (episode 39), together we deployed and played around with the Walkout Survey Solution, which can be used to streamline the management of communication walkout surveys and quickly evaluate the feasibility of proposed broadband expansion projects. It makes things easy for communication organizations that want to collect critical asset information needed to plan new communication network projects and validate proposed network routes.

Now, we are wrapping today's episode, and hopefully, this recap could help you find the one episode that you have missed out or you just want to watch it again to see if there were any new ideas.

And we are thrilled to see all these comments and suggestions regarding our future episodes, what do you want to see and want us to talk about, we will get that on our list.
