Hello.  My company uses an esri-partner tool called 3-GIS to design fiber optic networks.  I need to be able to design reports (mxd's) that take the fiber cables that are designed in the same conduit, or on the same pole line and symbolize them parallel to each other.  I also need for the cables to start and end touching their respective A and Z locations.

Can anybody help me learn how to do this?  I'm positive that this has to have been done before.

Thanks in advance for any tips, help, advice, and/or pity!

Try offsetting the lines, you can do this by going to Layer Properties > Symbology > Open the symbol the click Edit Symbol. Change the Type to Cartographic Line Symbol from Simple Line Symbol. Then go to Line properties and you should see the option to offset the line. Now when you plot two lines with the same coordinates/vertices, one will be slightly offset from the other so you will see parallel lines.
