How can I use GIS to collect and map multiple travel points from a large group of people?

I have a group of geography teachers that are going to physically map the countries that alums have traveled to since graduating. Right now they are collecting info on Facebook. I think this might be a good opportunity to use GIS. What method of data collection and delivery do you think would work best? Some of the students have traveled to multiple countries and would need a way to enter them all at once.  Would this be a good professional development idea for these teachers?

The problem (I think) with that is that you need to upload a picture. What if you don't have a picture, and you just want to list a travel point?

I don't think you HAVE to have a picture, but I hear you. If you want folks to enter their own data, I would recommend Survey123. Alternatively, if one person collects all the info, you can just create a spreadsheet and map them all at the end.
