I often need to provide gpx-files (most of the time lines, but also points and polygones) for one of our partner. Is there a tool/skript which I could use (direct from ArcGIS Desktop) instead of using an online converter? Where could I find it?
And since i could not find a clear answer in the internet: Is it possible to converte a shp-polygone to gpx-polygone? Or will the outcome be a line?
Thx!
You could try this tool:
https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=067d6ab392b24497b8466eb8447ea7eb
But it only seems to support lines and points.
Hi, thanks for the link. Thats the one i already have. The other solution is, that you work with Q-GIS. But there also, it is not possible to create gpx-polygones. Or I work with a online converter.
It would be lovely to have a skript that creates gpx-plolygones. But since I am not sure if this is possible ... ;-(.
ArcGIS Pro 2.6 .x has the Features to GPX tool : Features To GPX (Conversion)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation
Dear Mary, many thanks! Finally!!
No problem!
