Verification of VGI and Creation of feature specific comment threads using Arc GIS Online.

Hi !

I am thinking about using this platform for a project on PPGIS in community planning. I am wondering though;

1.) What methods can be used here to verify VGI. For example I have seen some researchers build systems to allow users to rate comments made by other users. Does Arc GIS online provide any such capabilities?

2.) Is it possible to create discussion threads per feature on the map ? I have seen from exercise 1 in the MOOC course I am doing, how to   input comments but wondering if an entire thread can be created to facilitate discussion on one objects.

I would really appreciate any comments on these concerns.

This is an old thread, but the answer is yes, Esri has several web app templates for crowdsourcing data that support comment threads on individual features and workflows for verifying the feedback:
