Hi There,
I'm very new at GIS and I am trying to do a simple project in which I use a viewshed to calculate noise pollution from a road. The Viewshed needs to include elevation, tree height and building height. I have added my tree layer as a raster to my DEM which I think is the right way to go but now I'd like to add height to those trees, same thing eventually to my houses. Any help including telling me I'm going about this all wrong is appreciated!
