Hello,

So basically, I want to use the functionality of the Erase tool from the Analysis Toolbox, but I just want to update the geometry, keeping all the attributes. The Erase tool creates a new layer... I know that the Update Geometry tool exists in the Edit toolbar, but I didn't see anything to erase a part of a polygon.

Patrice,

Could you just clip the polygon instead?

Or, if wanted to go manually, you could cut the polygon and then delete the 'cutted' section.

Yes! The clipping tool in the Edit toolbar was exactly what I was looking for.

Thank you!
