Hi all, I wanted to call your attention to a wonderful science conservation event happening this Friday called Half-Earth Day. Half-Earth Day is hosted by the EO Wilson Foundation and is based on EO Wilson's Half-Earth Theory, which proposes conserving half of the earth's land and oceans to allow for biodiversity to thrive.
If you are interested in conservation, biodiversity, or wildlife this event would be great to attend. The keynote conversation will be between famous BBC Earth narrator, Sir David Attenborough, and "the father of biodiversity" EO Wilson.
Esri's Sean Breyer will present in the Education and Technology Session from 1:00 pm - 1:50 PM EDT.
Registration is free and open to all. Learn more here.
