I am new to the group and also to Roads and Highways. While trying to acquire the necessary knowledge about Roads and Highways, I came across the Lookup Tables. I understood that they can be used as an alternative to Coded Value Domains for extensive lists.
Unfortunately, I don't find the description in the online documentation very helpful in understanding the use of a Lookup Table better. For example, I wonder if a Lookup Table (like a Coded Value Domain) also has only two columns?
I think that the sense of Lookup Tables can be better understood with a concrete example. Can someone from this group perhaps provide me with a good example of the use of a Lookup Table?
