Hi,

I am currently using Image Server as a standalone application, that means without ArcGIS Server. Is it possible in Image Server to publish images as standards, e.g. WMS? Or is ArcGIS Server necessary for that.

Thank you very much in advance.

ArcGIS Server is required to provide WMS and WCS capabilities to the Image Service. Standalone Image Server uses its own protocol, which requires a special client to consume.
