Hey there,

I've taken a look around but I am wondering what the best process is for publishing our various UAV imagery so it is accessible in our ArcGIS Server/Portal configuration.

We have close to 100 ecw files of orthos of various flights over the province we've done.

I see in arc catalog I can right click on one and publish it as an image service, but  my question is whether there is an easier way to publish one item that consists of all our imagery so that it can simply be turned off and on as needed in the webmap?

Any documentation or tips would be nice.

Thanks

Hi,

You can upload the all imageries directly to the ArcGIS image server. ArcGIS 10.8 image server or higher version we have an option to upload the data directly in the portal and create the image service. Here is the step-by-step process.

https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/use/publish-imagery-layers.htm

Note: Please check whether ECW supports it or not.

For ECW files you need to download and configure the ECW for ArcGIS Server product. Refer https://support.esri.com/en/technical-article/000010516.
