"Could not edit the data in the folder you selected"

I am working in 10.6.1 and I am trying to start an editing session, however I get the error "Could not edit the data in the folder you selected". I am working out of a database server so I am working in my own editing session, therefore nobody is editing the same layers as myself. I have also tried checking the permissions, in which I have permission to everything. Any ideas as to what the issue might be? Data Reviewer Support Group ‌

Whenever I get an error like this on desktop, I usually have to close all instances of my GIS software and try again. And sometimes have to restart my PC. I suppose a similar thing can be done on a server, right?

This has been the go-to a lot here recently, unfortunately it is still not working. I do believe that it is something deeper, though I have tried almost everything!

Actually late last night my GIS Project manager took a deep look into the SQL and noticed that I had not been added. Thanks for the responses!
