Esri Supported OGC and ISO/TC211 Standards
The ArcGIS platform is interoperable with other geographic information system (GIS) technologies and integrates seamlessly with nongeospatial IT solutions. GIS interoperability is enabled by a number of factors including support of openly developed and adopted IT and GIS standards. This paper focuses on Esri's support for geospatial standards from ISO Technical Committee 211 (ISO/TC 211) and Open Geospatial Consortium, Inc. (OGC).
