Removing Dynamic text

edit or remove dynamic text in Desktop 10.5

Hello

I have added some dynamic text on a map and now I want to remove it.

I have tried to but I cannot- can you please tell me how to remove Dynamic text from my map?

The solution was to copy all the content on a new map.

Something in the old map got corrupted and would not let me edit.
