Line feature demarkation

I've created a line feature and would like to add points at a specific distance along this line, say every 0.1 mile. This is a long line, 7.4 miles and having the line labeled incrementally at every 0.1 mile would help with the map series and identifying where exactly certain other features occur. Is there an "automatic" way to generate the 0.1-mile markers? Or do I have to measure, add a point, label the point and repeat for the entire length? Working in ArcGIS PRO btw. Thanks

Then if you want those as points you can convert to points

Another option that looks like it would work is this function in ArcGIS Pro.  I have not tried it myself, but it looks promising:
