About This SIG:
It is the mission of a Statistical Office or Census Bureau to measure people, places, and the economy. The information provided by a Statistical Agency makes it possible for policy and decision makers to understand how the country is changing. It also helps the public understand whether government is dedicating the right resources to the right places. In this session we will take a look at Census 2020 – the data now beginning to be made available, challenges faced and some of the technologies used by statistical organizations in this critical work.
