Any information how to address this error - "This token has already been accepted"?

Upon receiving link to activate Esri Account, user directed to set up an account. Subsequently asked to verify the account, and upon doing so directed to a log in page. Upon logging in, warning received of a used token.

"This token has already been accepted. A token can only be accepted once."
Cannot proceed to administering licences and downloads.
This was the first time activating account and using link, why would this error be generated?

Sorry for the late reply - I am just now seeing this question on our feed.

This is an odd experience. I haven't seen that one before, but we made some improvements to this experience with our last release (May 15).

Let us know if it happens again.
