Currently these file formats can be attached to a 'note' when communicating with a technical support analyst working on a case:
*.png, *.jpeg, *.jpg, *.gif, *.pdf, *.doc, *.docx, *.rtf, *.txt, *.gpk, *.zip
ArcGIS Pro project package (*.ppkx) should be included in this list....
What about:
.mpk and .mpkx
.lpk and .lpkx
.tpk and .tpkx
.vtpk
.slpk
.gpk and .gpkx
.dlpk
.mmpk
.mspk
.gcpk

The sizes of these might become limiting to manage. But I'm adding other package formats here more as a reminder that just because ArcGIS Pro works with Projects, it isn't always necessary to package the entire project to troubleshoot an issue. If the issue seems to be with a specific layer, why not sent a .lpkx instead of the whole project. And then work your way up to a .mpkx if the issue appears to be with a specific map, etc.
Earlier today I was asked by the analyst for a project package; that way she gets all the same data I'm looking at. I got to her, but had to zip it in order to upload.
