In ModelBuilder in ArcGIS Pro 2.4, in tools including the Table to Table tool and the Append tool, I have a problem that keeps persisting despite some substantial time spent trying to solve for it.
The source tab in the fieldmapping area, over time automatically (without my direct intervention at least) accumulates duplicate references to the same data source sometimes as many as ten or fifteen times over, all mapped to a single field in the output layer. This ultimately has the effect of messing up the data map so that fields no longer transfer data as planned, even though the Model still seems to run, which creates a constant troubleshooting issue.
Curious if others have experienced this, what the cause(s) may be, or if I'm missing something obvious, as it's slowing down and complicating my use of the ModelBuilder substantially.
