In terms of space science, what would you like to learn about or experiment with? From your experience it sounds like you can pretty easily horizontally move from DBA to more of a spatial data analyst position, but if you're interested in more like Aerospace and space science like GIS on the Moon, Mars, or other space topic, then Spatial Analysis may be something different than you're looking for.
I'm pretty versed in the outer space realm, so if that's what you're interested in, let me know and I can see if I can point you in the right direction!
