What's going on with scrolling zoom in MapViewer Beta?

I had a look at MapViewer Beta for the first time today and was nearly immediately flummoxed.  I tried to zoom into my area of interest using the mouse wheel and was zoomed out (in the direction of the southwest).  I rolled the wheel in the opposite direction and it did the same thing.

Is there a setting I couldn't find?  Is scrolling zoom an unimplemented feature?

What browser are you using? I am seeing the save behavior between the current viewer and beta on Chrome(windows)

It was on Chrome.  I've nearly defaulted to Chrome as a browser these days because of the number of applications that have it on a recommended use list.  I shall have to try the Beta viewer on Firefox. Thanks.

I am not seeing this behavior on Chrome (83.0.4103.97)

I'm experiencing this issue in Firefox. Using mouse wheel to zoom in/out does not work correctly at all.

I also can't repro this on Firefox and get the same experience across Chrome to FF.
