Hi I was hoping to get some assistance troubleshooting.

I've setup the Campus Place Locator App with my own services and it kinda works, except the floors don't filter as expected?

The only hint of an error I see is a [ undefined "" ] in devtools... which happens after you select a building (only 1 currently loaded)

Here is the app...

http://data.orangeville.ca/Apps/OfficeLocator/CampusPlaceLocator/

AGOL Source Map

https://arcg.is/iuWzz

REST

ImageryBasemap/AlderBM (MapServer)

Structure/BuildingInterior (MapServer)

I used the CMDM (Canadian Local Gov) however all fields being used seem to be the same. I published the services in NAD83 UTM 17N but I would expect they should reproject like the example data.

Any assistance getting the floors to appear when selected would be greatly appreciated.

FIXED - maybe this will help someone else

Read through the instructions carefully!!!!!

ah.. webmap was setup incorrectly... add the layers individually! read the instruction clearly and dont assume things!

I got rid of the error msg [ undefined "" ] by using the web mercator aux sphere prj on the data frame for the mxds used to publish the service as the Campus Place Locator troubleshooting page indicates... however the filtering still doesn't work?!?

Now I'm not sure what to go on here?!

Hi Evan.

I got the same error here. I follow your recomendation to add the layers individually, but didn´t work.

Any advice?

Thank you.

I gave another read through the instructions and noticed somethings I didnt do correctly the first time... review it again to see if you made any setup errors (or assumptions)

This is the specific note I missed initially when setting up my map...

Note:

When adding layers from ArcGIS Server web service to the map you must add each layer individually. ArcGIS Server web service URLs should be in this format http://yourserver/ArcGIS/rest/services/BuildingInterior/Feature Server/0.

Can you share a link? this may not be your issue... the other thing that it may be is make sure your data attributes correspond correctly . . . floor names and ids should be consistent through your layers...
