Can I stay with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 but install ArcGIS Desktop 10.7.1?

If I don't need to publish any geoprocessing service, is it ok to stay with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 but upgrade ArcGIS Desktop to 10.7.1?

You can still use ArcMap with a previous version of ArcGIS Enterprise. However, if there is new functionality at version 10.7.1 within ArcGIS Server, you will need to upgrade your server site.
