Hello! I am working on a project where I am trying to detect the expansion of sugarcane crop area over time, using 10 m Sentinel-2 imagery. The area I am researching is about 460,000 acres. Currently I have approached this task a number of different ways. I have used the imagery difference tool for two images converted to NDVI. I have also attempted image classification after creating my own classification schema.
None of these approaches have really given me any insight into where and how much sugarcane has expanded. If you have any ideas or processes for how to approach this question, I would greatly appreciate it!
