Remote Sensing: What is the maximum number of bands available for remote sensing satellite images?

NASA's Terra-ASTR and Terra-MODIS produce 14 and 36 bands, respectively.  Maxar's WorldView 3 and 4 each have 17 bands.  ESA's Sentinel-2 has 12 bands, and NASA's Landsat 7 and 8 have 11 bands available.
