but I am still unable to add raster to the mosaic dataset. All my images are tif format and i do have a gps file with the x,y and z information.
However, i kept getting the error of unable to build mosaic dataset.
Does anyone has the experience with this? i would appreciate your help! Thanks!

If you use GPS data correctly, you might need to check the spatial reference that you use to create the empty mosaic dataset. The spatial reference of the mosaic dataset should match the GPS coordinates. please give it a try.
