I'm mosaicking some b/w imagery and have found ghosting (see attached MDGhosting) in the overlap areas. I've used a radiometry lower limit of 20 to remove black borders when building footprints and this has worked very well (attached CorrectedFootprints). I also use the Max mosaic operator to allow the highest pixel value to appear in the overlap areas since the radiometry limit may not capture all the dark border areas. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thank you for your help.
