I have a hosted image service of LIDAR elevation data. The data is tiled into 5km *.mrf files hosted in an Amazon S3 bucket. We have EC2 storage attached to our management instance where we have generated raster proxy files using the optimize rasters tools of the tiled data on the S3 storage. The raster proxy files have been added to a mosaic dataset, overviews generated (also stored on the EC2 storage) and served as an Image service with download enabled.
The moasic dataset is published as an image service and works correctly - it uses Overviews then pulls back the full resolution tile from the Amazon S3 storage when viewing. I need the end user to be able to use the download rasters tool to extract selected tiles for further processing locally wher necessary. When using the download rasters tool in ArcMap 10.6 or ArcPro 2.2 it returns the Overviews and the raster proxy files for download NOT the full rasters from the Amazon S3 bucket. Does anyone have any thoughts as to how the user can download the full tiles from Amazon S3 rather than the MRF proxy files?
