Add group layers to ArcGIS Server

I am trying to share a service to my ArcGIS Server through Arcmap. The map has grouped layers but when i try to share the service i get "groupl layer type is not supported for feature service" So my question is how do I this so i can create a map for with group layers for ArcGIS Portal to build a Web App-builder application?

I think this concept would be included in Idea for Group layers for AGOL as that is a public portal

You have to add the Map service (dynamic), Map Image Layer to the map.

Once i added the map image layer i was able to see the layers in the group.

That didn't work as it only adds the map image layer i can't query or identify the layer.

Interesting enough i have pics of people that post that appear to have grouped layers...
