Why the quality of image is changed as it is added to a mosaic

I have added an image to a mosaic dataset but I have noticed that the quality of the image has been changed automatically.

How to keep the original quality of the image after adding it to the mosaic dataset?

And of course there is the whole discussion about statistics for individual elements and for the mosaic dataset itself and whether you want stretch to be applied and other issues relating to how the individual is treated with respect to the collective.  There are far to many things to consider, so I will suggest you go through this link and check what you have done for each combination
