Segment Mean Shift output

I'm running ArcGIS Pro version 2.9 with Image Analyst.  I ran Segment Mean Shift on my 3-band high resolution satellite imagery.  I then converted the classified raster output into polygon.  The polygons generated have "irregular" boundaries.  Is there an automated way to "straighten" the boundaries without manually editing them?  There are hundreds of thousands of polygons.  I don't have a Production license.

Appreciate any help.

Hi,

Thanks to all who replied.  However, I found that lowering the values of Spectral Detail and Spatial Detail smoothens the boundaries.

With your current explanation it's difficult to understand what the issue is without a screenshot.

Consider trying the Smooth Polon GP tool as it "smooths" the irregular boundaries from pixel shapes.  Do see https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/cartography/smooth-polygon.htm.  This tool requires a Standard license.

However it adds vertices to the polygons to get a more smooth shape.  Simplify Polygon is another tool you may want to use to reduce the number of vertices afterwards however it creates more angular polygons with straighter edges. Do see https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/cartography/how-simplify-line-works.htm

I also often use Eliminate to remove very small polygons craeted from converting raster to polygon
